About Us

Our Society was founded in 1988 by a group of local dedicated gardeners. We are located in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada. We belong to the Ontario Horticultural Association, and are part of District Two.

Activities:

  • Yearly Plant Sale (held in May of each year)
  • Monthly meetings with Guest Speakers
  • Downtown Planting
  • Victoria School Museum Garden

Mission Statement:

To inform and educate fellow gardeners and encourage those new to gardening.

Newspaper Error: There was an error in the Carleton Place 2015 Information Guide stating that all of our meetings from September to December are Pot lucks. This statement is incorrect. Our Pot luck is in December only.

Next Meeting:

Wed. September 2, 2015 meeting at 7pm – Making Daylily Babies in the back yard with Kelly Noel. Kelly is an Ottawa Master Gardener and an avid grower and hybridizer of Daylilies.

Please join us at 39 Bridge St. at  St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Hall (basement) in Carleton Place, ON at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome. Guest price is $3.00 for the meeting or $10.00 for a single yearly membership or $15.00 for a family yearly membership.
