About Us

Our Society was founded in 1988 by a group of local dedicated gardeners. We are located in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada. We belong to the Ontario Horticultural Association, and are part of District Two.

Activities:

  • Walk in Peace and Native Teachings at the Carleton Place Community Labyrinth, Thursday, June 18th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Bring a picnic supper
  • Flower Show and Tea, Saturday June 20, 2015 from 1:30pm to 4:00pm at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Hall Basement, Carleton Place (Please enter through rear of building).
    Free entrance to show. Dessert and tea/coffee – $5
  • Yearly Plant Sale
  • Monthly meetings with Guest Speakers
  • Downtown Planting
  • Victoria School Museum Garden

Mission Statement:

To inform and educate fellow gardeners and encourage those new to gardening.

September 2015 meeting – Making Daylily Babies in the back yard with Kelly Noel. Kelly is an Ottawa Master Gardener and an avid grower and hybridizer of Daylilies.

Please join us at 39 Bridge St. at  St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Hall (basement) in Carleton Place, ON at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome. Guest price is $3.00 for the meeting or $10.00 for a single yearly membership or $15.00 for a family yearly membership.
