About Us

Our Society was founded in 1988 by a group of local dedicated gardeners. We are located in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada. We belong to the Ontario Horticultural Association, and are part of District Two.

Activities:

  • Yearly Perennial Plant Sale – Saturday May 27, 2017 8:30am, 267 Edmund St, Carleton Place, Ontario.
  • Monthly meetings with Guest Speakers
  • Downtown Planting
  • Victoria School Museum Garden Maintenance

Mission Statement:

To inform and educate fellow gardeners and encourage those new to gardening.

Our Spring flower show and Joanna Kowalczyk will give a talk on “Pruning”. Joanna is a graduate from Humber College and Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture.

If you can pick up a member who needs a ride to and from the meetings, that would be great. Be small town friendly.

Membership price is $10.00/year or $3.00 for a drop in for the night.  Everyone is welcome! Please join us at 39 Bridge St. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Hall (back entrance in the basement) in Carleton Place, Ontario.
