Membership

Annual Membership has its rewards and provides so much value for money –  only $15. Or  purchase a Visitor’s Pass at the door for only $5 to check out a meeting to see if it appeals to you.

Members can choose to sit back and enjoy the monthly meetings or dig right in by volunteering in one or more of our many community projects. Our members include people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds.  We welcome everyone from beginning gardeners to those with decades of experience. Some of our members are not gardeners, but are interested in floral arrangements and knowledge of all thing horticultural.  Our common interests include:

  • Love of gardening and horticultural pursuits
  • Deep enjoyment in  gaining and sharing horticultural knowledge
  • Commitment to preserving and restoring Ontario’s natural environment
  • Dedication  to making the community we live in more beautiful, sustainable and livable

How to Join or Renew Membership

Here are three easy ways to renew or purchase your Membership, or to buy a Gift Membership for a friend or family member.

  1. You can mail a cheque payable to Carleton Place & District Horticultural Society or cash along with your form to Carleton Place & District Horticultural Society, 43 Napoleon St., Carleton Place, ON K7C 2X4.
  2. You can drop off a cheque or cash along with your form to Laura Cupper, Membership Coordinator, outside mailbox at 43 Napoleon Street, Carleton Place.
  3. You can send an e-transfer to Carleton Place & District Horticultural Society Treasurer (Linda May Bartlett) at  cphorticulture@gmail.com. No password required. Include a note: Membership 2026 fees – first name and last name. Then you can scan the membership form and send by email to cphorticulture@gmail.com.

Please complete and return the 2026 CPDHS Membership form with your payment, only if you are a new member or if any of your information has changed e.g: email, telephone number, address.

NOTE: You can also join or renew your membership at a monthly meeting.
